Peninsula Powder Coating was first established in 1987 and is a family owned and operated business.  We cover Melbourne-wide and Mornington Peninsula Areas including Dandenong, Moorabbin and Carrum Downs.

We have a fully equipped facility and all our work is completed to Australian Standards.  You can expect a high quality finish and professional service.

Three pre-treatments plants for chromate conversion of aluminium, a 9 metre batch oven for even the largest jobs and a 100m conveyor line.

What We Do

Powder Coating is a process where a dry powder consisting of a solvent free dry mix of plastic resins, pigment and fillers are sprayed onto the surface of an item. The powder is electrostatically charged so that it holds to the item.

The item is then placed in an oven and heated which causes a chemical reaction so that the powder melts and fuses together to create a smooth and highly durable finish.

Powder can be applied to any object that holds an electrostatic charge and can withstand the heat of the oven.
